They’re declaring Obama’s victory. McCain has conceded. It seems so early… is it really over already?
Father, if You are willing, take this cup away from us; still, not our will but Yours be done.
And please, do send Your holy angels to strengthen us. We will need it, for a long, steep, arduous journey is beginning, and our crosses are bound to be heavy.
St. Michael the Archangel, protect us.
Immaculate Conception and Queen of Victory, pray for us.
Our Lord and our God, have mercy on us.

I sincerely hope president-elect Obama will govern more towards a moderate side on key issues, but only time will tell. In the meantime, we must ensure the pro-life voice is NOT only heard during the campaign year itself.

Friend, I thank you for your invocations. We need Providence’s protection and love.
Please keep in mind that no matter what may ensue, if we keep Jesus and Mary close, as you have just done, Jesus will bless us, and Mary will place Her Mantle of Protection over us. What we face will seem insignificant when shown the true power of love.
My concern is for those who in all the small choices they make throughout the day turn away from this Divine Love.

Natalie: I agree completely and share your hope. I love that image too! I chose it especially for November.
Lexington: Beautifully said. We must never stop hoping and trusting in the power of love. Nor praying for those who stray from or reject it.
