Now and then I rely on audio aids to my prayer. Usually it’s because I’ve taken off somewhere without my breviary. Sometimes praying along with audio helps me focus. And sometimes I use these sites to train myself to better pray with a group–something I still find challenging or at least uncomfortable at times.
I have found a couple of really good audio prayer sites. I think I’ve mentioned both of these before, but they merit mentioning again:
I’d like to hear about other audio prayer sites. The Divine Office and Rosary are my primary devotions, but I’m interested in other types as well. Do you have any favorites?

I meant to say that I also like the Verbum Domini podcast which is daily readings of the liturgy. (I am a rotating lector on their schedule so that is why I may be a bit partial. :-) )

I’ve found this CD very helpful and very inspiring. The relaxed frame of mind that this Catholic therapist puts you in opens you up for the prayers he concludes with.

I found a great site at the Boston Catholic Journal for many catholic prayers in both Latin and English. You can listen online , download prayers, even get some free cds. So many audio prayers! even the whole book of psalms — but only in latin. Definitely worth looking at — listening to. Nice calm voice. Not the usual quick rote prayers.
