I just love my parish church.  It has a great noble simplicity, more elegant than ornate.

It is a very holy space.  One of my favorite things is the smell–hints of incense, candles, and flowers.  It is unmistakable as soon as you open the door.  When you go in before the Saturday vigil Mass, you are usually met by the sound of chanting from our schola cantorum.  It is truly like walking into into a different world.

I want to try to get some good shots of the windows–they are gorgeous!  I love the statues, especially the Crucifix and the Pieta.

Anyhoo, check out the photos here! I’m not the greatest photographer, but hopefully they will give you a sense of the great beauty of the church.
