A happy and blessed Divine Mercy Sunday to all!
Oh, God has been so very merciful to me… I just get lost in wonder and gratitude whenever I think of it! I think it is wonderful that we celebrate this feast on the Sunday after Easter. It reminds us that God’s mercy is not just something that happened a long time ago, but that it happens every day!
Jesus, I trust in You!

“It reminds us that God’s mercy is not just something that happened a long time ago, but that it happens every day!”
Indeed, that is the key, is it not? We must be present before the Mystery in our daily lives. It is NOT merely a historical event.
Divine Mercy is central to my discipleship. I am a Eucharisitic Apostle of the Divine Mercy.
Have you read JPII’s encyclical on “The Mercy of God?” I highly recommend it, if not. He refers to Luke as the Mercy Gospel, and considers Mercy to be the central meaning of the Gospel. Luke chapter 15 says it all.
Peace.
